Aims

The developers required the maximum build size the brownfield site could accommodate. Their key requirements were speed of delivery and production on budget.

Challenges

Special considerations to the internal lighting, heating and external yard specifications were given to accommodate the racking system. Local area constraints had to be considered when bringing services to the building.

Solutions

Access to the adjacent sewer was prohibited, therefore Beva worked with the project engineers to enable drainage to be pumped to an alternative sewer 30 metres away.

Benefits

The Build Center - Timber Outlet replaces existing premises which were located a short distance away. This building, in conjunction with the adjacent Build Center, will enable Wolseley UK Limited to provide all the builders needs from this prominent location in Trafford Park.
